Certified Nursing Assistant? A licensed CNA is the first step towards greater opportunities, if you wish  to continue your education and advance to a
LPN, RN, PA or MD. A CNA license may also improve your overall placement scores for a Registered Nurse program.

TFN requirements? A valid government issued, picture identification is required during registration or your first day of class.

Your motivation, determination to succeed, ability to study independently and active participation during class are essential to your success.

The dress code is casual with non-skid shoes. Scrubs are not required for class.

Age restriction and educational requirements? Effective August 1, 2010, the minimum age requirement for licensing is age 17 with a diploma. If you are
18 or older, a GED,  high school diploma or experience are not required for class, state testing or licensing by the state.

State exam fees? Background screening, fingerprinting and testing fees are regulated by the state. Effective August 1, 2010  legislation approved a fee
change for Nursing Assistant state testing. $93.00 (clinical & written) + $43.25  (background screening)  + $25.00 (processing fee) = $161.25. When you
register for your state examination, these fees are payable to Prometric not
TFN.

TFN fee? Your investment includes hands-on, personalized classes to accommodate your learning ability, CNA prep  book and optional refresher
session prior to your state examination. A FREE (yours to keep!) stethoscope and blood pressure cuff for practicing at home are also included to
improve your chances of passing the state exam, the first time.

Example, $300 for the
4 day class plus state fees equals a total investment of $461.25 or $436.25 with discount. Your TFN investment combined with
your state testing fees are less than most organizations providing similar services within the surrounding areas.

Dedicated
TFN students who are unsuccessful on their state examination are granted a free week in preparation to retest for the (failed portion) of the
state examination, if
TFN criteria and Prometrics requirements for retesting are met. 96% of our students pass the clinical and written state examination
the first time!

If you did not attend
TFN and you meet Prometric's retesting requirements, we can also help you prepare to retake the (written portion) of the state
examination.

TFN students can complete their CPR Basic Life Support course for health care providers certified by AHA or Red Cross for only $65.00. It is not a
requirement for state testing or
TFN class participation. CPR certification is typically a requirement for employment.

Job placement? Students who meet TFN standards are provided possible leads for employment opportunities. Job placement services are not provided.
TFN does not promises nor guarantee employment upon successful completion of class or successfully passing the CNA examination and license
issuance by the State.

Scheduling state exam? TFN will assist you with the application process. Upon notification of your state testing date from Prometric, your optional
refresher will be scheduled. With independent studying plus the refresher, the skills will be fresh in your mind before testing which will improve your
chances of passing the first time.

demonstrate the randomly selected, three clinical skills.

second portion in two years; or 2) failed one portion of the exam three times, you must complete a minimum of 120 hours of training. Afterwards, you
must retake both the written and clinical
