- Our classes may not be suitable for everyone. If you prefer or require training (120+ class hours), we encourage you
to consider our partner, Florida State College at Jacksonville.
C.N.A. licenses are issued by the state Board of Nursing. State testing requirements for licensing are the same for
each candidate regardless of experience or training. Certified Nursing Assistant classes are non-transferable for
credits to complete a degree program.

community. Southlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a free-standing licensed 180-bed certified facility. They
specialize in short term skilled nursing and rehabilitation, long term, respite and end-of-life care.

Directions - Bus Route
Click the links for directions or JTA Orange Park bus route to TFN. Stiles Avenue crosses I-17/Park Avenue
between the Hess gas and Save A' Lot plaza. We are conveniently located adjacent to Orange Park elementary
school and approximately two blocks from JTA bus stop.
Prometric
Prometric administers the state clinical and written Nursing Assistant examination. TFN will assist you with the
application process. Prometric will schedule your state examination date. Once you have passed the clinical and
written state exam, they will notify the Board of Nursing who will issue your license.
Department of Health
Upon completion of your preparatory class, successful background screening, passing of the clinical and written
state examination administered by Prometric, your license will be issued and renewed by the Board of Nursing not
TFN.
